Mac Mini

New Mac mini.

Hmm this is a model: a1103 macmini . It’s beautiful on the outside. I think I’ll want to install Linux or something else on it but after doing research that’s probably a no-go. So a Mac OS Tiger boot disc to wipe it clean is probably my only option.

hmm no wifi. tiny hard drive which is about 35ish gigabytes :L
and what the heck is an airport card? oh wifi.
it played the Back to the Future DVD perfectly with no lagging at all.
I’m never happy with the mouse speed when I use macs. I set it to the fastest and then it feels like it slows down.
they don’t like me!

Aw you got a really old one! You should put Leopard on it or Snow Leopard. They’re the best OS’s I ever did use! Seriously, they really are the best OS’s ever. Too bad the specs are so outdated on that one… but free is free!

I don’t think it accepts Leopard. I don’t think it’s intel based. I think this is the first mac mini which was before they began adding the intel stuff to them.
I think the most it can take is Tiger from what I’ve read about minimum hardware requirements. I wanted to try Snow Leopard tho but I can’na do that~ :L

oh that’s right I almost forgot, those are intel-only OS’s.
