Alan Joyce (author of “Secrets of the Mouse“) just came out with a new book!
It’s called “The Hidden Mouse” and it covers all the known hidden mickeys at the Disneyland Resort!
I got a free copy to review… yey! Awesome book if I do say so myself. It include pictures of many of the hidden mickeys and information on where to spot a bunch of ‘em at Disneyland and California Adventure. I didn’t think Alan could outdo himself with the last book but he did.

Okay so it includes a checklist in case you want to mark each hidden mickey off as you go through each area of the parks.  Also most of the photos are close-ups so as not to be spoilers for people who haven’t been on the rides yet. That’s good.

There are so many hidden mickeys at Disneyland, I knew of a lot of them from my 2 1/2 years going there each week but there were even more I had no idea about till I looked through the pictures in the book.

The pictures are nice and clear and like I said they don’t give away the ride so if you’re like me and hate spoilers don’t worry about looking through the book since it’s spoiler-free and very well thought out. I wish there were pictures of every single hidden mickey but maybe the next edition will have that….Alan might be coming out with another edition of this book in the future. Still the amount of work it must have taken to photograph so many hidden mickeys must have been phenomenal. The book is like 116 pages and there are photos on near every page.

The way it’s set up even a little kid can read it and it would make a great book to take along on a family trip to Disneyland and California Adventure. An excellent read for a long bus ride or car trip to the resort for sure.

So to conclude “The Hidden Mouse” has a large number of color photos covering the overwhelming number of Hidden Mickeys you can find at the Disneyland Resort in Southern California. There’s plenty of hidden mickeys in the book to surprise even a die-hard disney fan, like myself.

Oh yeah you can get it here:

and it’s available on amazon.com

PS: if you want to impress someone, secretly read teh book and then go to the park with them and be like “check underneath dat chair…hidden mickey. Dat spoon….hidden mickey. Dat nail and dose screws…. hidden mickey.”
That’s what I would do :>
